Throughout my career I have worked with many people who have a technical affinity. People who enjoy working with technology. There are quite a few of them in my professional circle.
But every now and then you meet someone who is genuinely passionate about technology.
Someone who uses their spare time to learn everything they can about a subject, seeks out people in their network to discuss its advantages and disadvantages, and wants to help clients, colleagues, and even competitors apply it. Someone who takes junior colleagues by the hand and explains complex subjects in a clear and accessible way. And who does all of this without losing sight of their primary responsibilities.
